…writes Gov. Abdulrazaq, Saraki, Saliu Mustapha, Gobir, Hakeem Lawal, Wale Sulyman, Olodod others

The Association of Kwara State Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) has embarked on a heartfelt mission to raise funds for a noble cause.

In a financial solicitation letter addressed to several prominent individuals, including Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Sen. Bukola Saraki, Prof. Wale Suleiman, Waziri Yakubu Gobir, Sen. Saliu Mustapha, Alh. Hakeem Lawal, and Hon. Gani Cook-Olododo, ASKOMP seeks support for a critical medical procedure.

The letter, obtained by the media in Ilorin, highlights the story of a young child, Imam Abdulhayy Modibbo, diagnosed with Waardenburg Syndrome, a developmental disorder that has resulted in hearing loss and other symptoms. Imam Ahmed, a respected Ex-Student Leader, is the father of this young child.

Despite diligent efforts and prescribed medications over the past one and a half years, there have been no positive results in correcting the syndrome.

The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has advised that corrective surgery, treatment, Cochlear implant, and medical rehabilitation must be completed before Imam Abdulhayy turns 5 years old, which is just four months away.

The total amount required for this life-changing medical intervention is Ten Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (#10,500,000).

ASKOMP, recognizing the urgency and significance of this cause, has taken it upon themselves to solicit support from individuals and organizations.

The donations will be directed to Imam Ahmed’s bank account with the following details:

Account Name: Imam Ahmed
Account Number: 2172722456
Bank Name: UBA
Contact Numbers: 08163695655, 07063473636

This initiative showcases the power of collective compassion and community support, highlighting ASKOMP’s commitment to making a positive impact on the life of a young child in need.
