It was yet another great night for the Gunners as they secured passage to the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
Arsenal’s 1-0 win over PSV Eindhoven on Thursday’s night completed their perfect record in the tournament as they set to leverage on their impressive form for the quest for a silverware.
Captain Granit Xhaka’s strike in the 71st minutes was all the difference in a game wholely dominated by the homeside.
It’s 12 points from all their four outings and the Mikel Arteta’s side even though still have more two games to play
Arsenal have now won 13 games out of their 14 matches across all competitions in the season.
Speaking after the game, Arteta expressed his delight over the victory and noted the need need for his boys to be more clinical in the final third.
“We have qualified and we’re really pleased. Now we want to achieve first in the group. We had some really good moments, but we lacked in the final third.”
“Today we should have scored more goals, same in the first half against Leeds. That will come” he said.
