APC youths set to jog from Yenagoa to Lagos for Tinubu
The youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in South-Eastern and South-Southern regions of the country on Thursday began jogging from Yenagoa to Lagos in an attempt to pronounce support for Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential flagbearer.
The youths, under the umbrella of South-East/South-South Jogging for Tinubu Campaign Initiative, was a group of lovers of physical fitness who have chosen to embark on the 6-day exercise.
The Informant247 reports that the jogging exercise would be led from the party secretariat in Bayelsa by the Chairman of the party in Bayelsa, Dr Dennis Otiotion.
Addressing the team shortly before take off, Otiotio applauded the youths for volunteering to drum support for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential bid, adding that the gesture was an indication that Nigerian youths desire Tinubu.
He noted that sports remained a veritable tool for youth development and mass mobilisation, which brought youths from 11 states of the South-East and South-South geopolitical zones.
The chairman of the party revealed that leading the jogging exercise from Yenagoa is a sign of true support for the presidency of Tinubu.
The APC chairman in the state said that the track record of Tinubu as governor of Lagos State was a great testimony of the presidential flagbearer’s leadership capacity.
