All kidnapped Edo train passengers have been released — NRC confirms

All the kidnapped passengers at the Chief Tom Ikimi Railway Station Ekehen, in Igueben, Edo State have regained their freedom, said the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC). 

This was confirmed by Mahmood Yakub, the NRC’s Deputy Director of Public Relations.

Yakub confirmed that the victims have been reunited with their families, and relations, as they were released unhurt.

The board and management of the NRC also thanked the families of the victims, and security agencies for their patience and role towards the release of the kidnapped passengers.
