Adewoye came fourth in APC Kwara South primary — Dankaka
…says she is only woman from northern Nigeria to win APC primary
Former Kwara South Senatorial District aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Muheebah Farida Dankaka, has alleged that Lekan Adewoye came fourth in the party’s primary election and is “parading himself” as the APC candidate for the district.
Dankaka made the claim while speaking on TVC’s This Morning programme.
“The APC aspirant now parading himself as candidate of the APC in Kwara South came fourth,” she said, referring to Adewoye.
She also questioned Adewoye’s emergence in the party, alleging that he joined the APC only about two months before the primary election.
“Lekan Adewoye is parading himself. He joined APC only two months to the primary election. We don’t even know him. He bought the form with us surprisingly,” Dankaka said.
She further claimed that she was the only woman from northern Nigeria to win an APC primary election.
Dankaka’s comments come amid ongoing disputes over the APC’s candidate for the Kwara South senatorial district.
