Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is currently having a meeting with six governors elected under the platform of the party in Abuja.
The meeting, according to sources, is to address some issues in the Presidential Campaign Council list of the party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu.
The meeting, is holding at the national secretariat of the party.
In the meeting are some members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC and Adams Oshiomhole, an ex-National Chairman.
The governors who were in the meeting behind closed-doors were Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa) and Sani Bello (Niger).
The Informant247 observes that the 422-man campaign list earlier released by Lalong has generated issue among political players in the party, but the party seems to be revisiting the list ahead of the presidential campaigns.
