Adamawa Gov Fintiri, deputy receive INEC’s certificate of return in Abuja
The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri and his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta have received certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC following their victory in the just concluded governorship election in the state.
The INEC gave them their certificates on Wednesday April 19, 2022 at its headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The Informant247 understands that the state concluded its supplementary election yesterday Tuesday April 18, 2023.
While speaking to newsmen after obtaining his certificate, the Governor said his success at the poll has motivated him ahead of bigger challenges.
He promised to treat residents of the state with utmost fairness.
As earlier reported by The Informant247, the returning officer for the state guber election, Muhammad Mele yesterday Tuesday April 18 announced the incumbent Governor as the winner of the election following the collation of the controversial supplementary election results.
