Accident kills 2 persons, injures 1 in Bauchi
Two persons lost their lives and another sustained injury in an accident on Miya-Warji road in Ganjuwa Local Government Area of Bauchi state.
The accident was confirmed by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Bauchi State on Thursday.
Yusuf Abdullahi, the Sector Commander, made this revelation in an interview with the newsmen in Bauchi.
He revealed that the accident affected a motorcycle and Toyota Hilux vehicle belonging to Bauchi State Government.
The accident happened around 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday.
Abdullahi blamed the cause of the accident on violation of speed limits.
He disclosed that five male adults were affected in the auto accident.
He said two of them who were riding a motorbike died immediately, while the one in the vehicle got injured.
“The remaining two passergers were unscathed,” he said.
Abdullahi also revealed that the injured and the dead bodies had been hospitalised to General Hospital Kafin-Madaki for medical attention and confirmation.
He has sent message of advice to drivers to keep to traffic rules and regulations while making use of the roads.
