ABS Dynamic women appoints 16 coordinators to boost PDP grassroots mobilization in Kwara
In a strategic move to deepen grassroots political engagement and advance community development, the ABS Dynamic Women Stakeholders has appointed 16 Local Government Coordinators across Kwara State.
The appointments were announced as part of efforts to strengthen the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presence at the local level while promoting women’s participation in governance and community-building initiatives.
According to the State Coordinator of ABS Dynamic Women, Yewande Olatunji, the newly appointed coordinators will serve as liaisons between the party and women at the grassroots, mobilizing support, fostering unity, and driving development-oriented programs across the 16 local government areas.
Speaking at the official unveiling, the National President of the BSST Movement, Comrade Rasaq Olarewaju Abata, charged the appointees to approach their roles with dedication, integrity, and purpose. He emphasized the importance of women’s voices in shaping policy and strengthening democracy.
“This is more than just political mobilization it is about empowering women to take charge of development in their communities and amplifying their role in decision-making,” he said.
The initiative also reaffirms the legacy of the Saraki political dynasty in supporting women’s leadership and societal advancement.
