AbdulRazaq applauds Kwara doctors’ COVID-19 response
The Kwara State Government, on Thursday, applauded the efforts of medical doctors in the state in combating coronavirus disease.
Falade Gbenga Tayo, Ministry of Health Press Secretary, in a statement, said Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, represented by his Health Commissioner, Dr. Raji Razaq, gave the commendation at the 2020 Physicians’ Week Symposium held by the Kwara State branch of Nigerian Medical Association in Ilorin, the state capital.
“Considering your efforts and impact in the health care delivery of Kwara State, especially while we were actively battling the COVID-19 Pandemic, I am pleased to inform you that we are proud of you,” Falade quoted Razaq to have said.
He added that the government charged members of the association to sustain their impactful roles and cooperate with the state government in the bid to reposition the health sector.
