N100m ransom has been demanded by the abductors of Ekiti pupils and teachers from the Apostolic school in Emure-Ekiti for the release of the victims.
The Informant247 gathered that a group of gunmen on Monday seized a school bus from the Apostolic school in Emure, kidnapping several pupils, their head teacher and a driver while returning from school.
The incident, which occurred around 5 pm on Monday, said the victims were taken into a forest while the kidnappers continued to threaten harm to the victims if ransom was not raised quickly.
This has caused confusion and apprehension among the community.
The parents have appealed to the state and federal governments, as well as security agencies, to ensure the safe return of their children.
This abduction occurred on the same day that gunmen killed two traditional rulers in the Oke-Ako axis of the Ikole Local Government Area of the state.
