Following some recent unfriendly statements about the management during a meeting organized by the Kano Pillars supporters at the state press centre, Kano, the management of Kano Pillars Football Club on Tuesday announced the immediate suspension of the team’s technical adviser, Abdu Maikaba.
The Informant247 gathered that the suspension follows the formation of a committee that will investigate the coach’s performance and recommend further action.
The suspension is coming days after the former Enugu Rangers gaffer stated that he had not had a proper working environment since taking over at the beginning of the current season.
“I need a conducive environment to work. The current environment is not conducive in Kano. I’m discussing this with the management in days. If it warrants terminating the contract, I will do that,” Maikaba stated.
