5 parties declare support for Atiku ahead of 2023 election
Five out of 18 political parties in Nigeria have declared support for the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar ahead of the forthcoming presidential election scheduled to take place next week.
The political parties made this announcement at the grande finale of the main opposition party’s presidential rally which took place at the Mahmud Ribadu Square, in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State on Saturday.
The concerned political parties were the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, African Democratic Congress, ADC, National Rescue Movement, NRM, Action Alliance, AA and Action Peoples Party, APP.
This was revealed by the National Chairman of the APM, Yusuf Dantalle, who addressed the crowd on behalf of the parties.
The APM’s National Chairman had on Friday, February 17, 2023 ignored the female presidential candidate of his party, Chichi Ojei and declared open support for Atiku.
