34,294 PVCs ready for collection in Kebbi – INEC
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Kebbi state has announced the receival of thirty-four thousand two hundred and ninety-four (34,294) printed permanent voters cards from their National headquarters.
The public affairs officer via a signed press statement authenticated that the PVCs were ready for collection at the state head office and local governments where their bearers newly registered from first and second quarter in the ongoing continuous voter registration which commenced on June the 28th and ended in December 2021.
The commission also declared the fourth quarter is another avenue for prospective voters and those who turned 18 years after the 2019 polls to register as the exercise is ongoing.
Those who wish to transfer their cards and those who have issue of damaged cards are not left out in the continuous voter registration.
However, the commission sounds warning to members of the public to desist from double registration as anyone caught will be made to face the law.
Shekara urged well meaning citizens to display good conduct during and after polls, giving Nigerians the assurance that whoever registers will get his PVC before 2023 polls.
