2023 presidential election: Kwankwaso picks running mate
The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso has reportedly chosen Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa as his vice presidential candidate for the 2023 elections.
The party made this revelation via a tweet on its Twitter handle on Thursday “Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State.”
Bishop Idahosa is from Edo State and the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry, a.k.a Illumination Assembly, with its headquarters in Lekki, Lagos State.
The Informant247 observes that this development came following the inability of the party to form an alliance with the Labour Party, LP, for the presidential elections.
Kwankwaso and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, had during talks for an alliance, refused to reach a fruitful agreement on who should deputize each other.
