2023 Poll: ‘He’s a technocrat’ – Group woos Nigerians for Saraki’s Presidential ambition The Informant247

The Coalition of Saraki Advocates (COSA) has called on Nigerians to vote for Former Senate President, Sen. Abubakar Bukola Saraki as the President of the country in 2023.

The Coalition described Saraki as a technocrat and free-spirited Nigerian who possess the attributes to reunite the Northern and Southern regions amidst the secession and insecurity threats in the country.

The National President of COSA, Ambassador Saida Usman made the disclosure at the Occasion of World Press Conference and Official Inauguration of new Executives of the Coalition in Abuja on Saturday.

He said, “COSA is a political platform of like minds which comprises of 70 per cent young people across the globe who genuinely believe in Saraki’s leadership capacity to pilot the affairs of this country amidst the aforementioned threats.

“The limestone achievements of the President of the 8th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria which made him these best Senate President in the political history of Nigeria was what necessitated the coming together of young and patriotic minds to encourage and advocate his actualization of the presidency.

“We have come to appoint new leadership for COSA in preparation ahead of the 2023 General Elections. We shall continue to canvass more membership and keep enlightening people on the antecedents of Dr. Saraki and his Exemplary Leadership style.”

Ambassador Usman who pointed out that as the country moves towards electioneering process that will user in new Government at the Centre and various states, many topical issues like disintegration, secessionists agitation from the south and banditry, Herdmen/Farmers clashes and Terrorism are coming up, added that it takes a technocrat like Saraki to fix the country without rancours.

He furthered, “The most important thing that people should see Nigeria first, where regional and ethnic bias is eradicated, a Nigeria where religion should be a way of life, not the measure to attack others.

“Saraki a man in his fifties is no doubt the person generally acceptable to the northern and Southern elites and the entire masses considering his achievements should be beckoned unto to come onboard to cement Nigerians together beyond 2023.”

The highlights of the Programme was the inauguration of the Coalition with various leadership status at the National and state level and speeches to woo Nigerians towards the actualization of Dr. Saraki as the next president.
