The Labour Party, LP, in Ondo State has revealed that its logo was omitted on the ballot papers distributed to the state.
This came barely 24 hours to the presidential and national assembly elections scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
This was revealed by secretary of the party in the state, Agbaje Abiodun, while addressing newsmen in Akure, the capital of the state on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Abiodun said: “There is an omission of our party logo on the ballots brought by the Independent National Electoral Commission for the National Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives) elections.”
The Secretary said the party was ready to challenge the action of the electoral commission in court if necessary amendments were not made.
The Informant247 understands that the presidential election would take place in Nigeria, West Africa on Saturday February 25, 2023.
The leading candidates in the presidential election are Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC; Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP; Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP; Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP among other presidential candidates.
