Youth, women benefit from Muktar Shagaya’s capacity building initiative
Hon. Mukhtar Shagaya, the honorable representative of Ilorin West/Asa constituency in the House of Representatives, has taken the lead in a highly impactful endeavor.
Collaborating with the Nigerian Press Council and Galimo Nigeria Limited, he spearheaded a comprehensive capacity building and skills acquisition program for youth and women in Ilorin, with transformative outcomes.
The core objective of this program was to provide essential training and resources to the youth and women of Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, facilitating improved quality of life and promising future prospects for them and their families.

This initiative achieved resounding success, drawing participation from 150 individuals across 29 wards, all of whom engaged in a range of enriching workshops and seminars
Participants came from diverse backgrounds, including artisans, market women, community development associations, and political groups, each selected with care to contribute to the program’s impac
The training sessions, encompassing topics such as entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital marketing, and leadership skills, were conducted with precision and expertise.

The event’s significance extended beyond knowledge-sharing, fostering invaluable networking opportunities that facilitated peer-to-peer learning and interaction with industry experts.
Participants’ overwhelmingly positive response underlined their gratitude for the invaluable chance to acquire essential skills and knowledge through this impactful program.
