You’re not comfortable with Tinubu’s victory, go to court — Danbazau

A former Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Danbazau has said anyone who is not comfortable with the victory of the president elect Senator Bola Tinubu should take the issue to court.

The former Chief of Army Staff said the president elect is set to occupy the presidential seat as soon as he’s inaugurated as president on May 29.

He said the electoral umpire — the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has announced Tinubu as the victor of the February 25 presidential election and anyone who’s not comfortable with the outcome of the presidential election should approach the court.

He said this after paying a visit to the residence of the president elect in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Danbazau said: “The elections had been conducted, INEC has already made pronouncements as to who won the election and that is settled, so anybody who has an issue over that right now must have gone to court so they should allow the court look into the issues itself, there should be non-interference on what they do but as far as we are concerned we have the president-elect and ready to take over.”
