Yobe Gov., Buni appoints acting SSG, CoS
The Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Alhaji Baba Wali as the acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
In a statement issued on Monday, by the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed in Damaturu, said the governor has also approved the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Gashua as his acting Chief of Staff (CoS).
The statement said both appointments were with immediate effect.
Prior to their appointment, Wali and Gashua had served in substantive capacities before their dissolution by the State Executive Council in May.
