Yinka Ayefele, a seasoned gospel musician and music producer from Nigeria, recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of surviving a vehicle accident that left him wheelchair-bound.

On Sunday night, the music producer posted pictures from the incident to his Instagram account and thanked God, writing, “It’s exactly 25 years ago today.

Just keep thanking God on my behalf. It was on the 12th of December 1997. My turning point. I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny.”
