Yahaya Seriki Condoles With Emir of Ilorin on the Passing of His Mother

Amb. Yahaya Seriki has offered his condolence to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, on the death of his mother who recently passed away.

While commenting on the deceased he said “I heard of many of Alhaja’s anecdotes that made her name synonymous to motherhood and loyalty. You know Ilorin is just one small family house, so Alhaja is in a way my mother, too.”

He further added that “in as much as we do not want Mama to leave us, her days are glorious and honourable, and her passing is equally dignifying. She will be missed greatly.”

Speaking on Alhaja’s quality, he described her as “a perfect quintessence of morality, an ideal woman every living woman must learn to be like,” and also added that “a life lived so long, peacefully and successfully is worthy of emulation.”

“If you want to live as fine as she did, then you need to follow her footsteps in life,” he added.

He prayed to Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdaws and also prayed for more guidance, good health and long life for the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari “to be our father for long.”
