Woro kidnap victims regain freedom, ex-Kwara governor’s spokesperson confirms

Victims of the recent kidnapping incident in Woro, Kwara State, have regained their freedom, according to former Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor, Dr. Rafiu Ajakaye.

Ajakaye announced the development in a post shared on a Kwara-based WhatsApp platform on Wednesday.

“Breaking: Woro Kidnap Victims Regain Freedom.

“Alhamdulillaah, and kudos to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, security forces, and everyone who played a role in this huge feat. We are grateful!

“Details later…,” he wrote.

The circumstances surrounding the victims’ release, are to be disclosed.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement providing further details on the incident or the victims’ condition.
