Women’s World Cup: Super Falcons qualify for round of 16 after 0-0 draw with Ireland
Nigeria’s Super Falcons have qualified for the round of 16 of the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brisbane Australia.
A goalless draw with the Republic of Ireland on Monday ensured that the nine time African champions secure progression to the last 16 of the tournament.
With Australia defeating Canada in Group B’s other match, Nigeria finished second with 5 points and will play the Group D winners who could be England in the last 16.
