Wike: Fani-Kayode speaks on Tinubu’s visit to Rivers
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC Femi Fani-Kayode has commented on the visit of the Nigeria’s president elect Senator Bola Tinubu to Rivers State to commission some projects.
The Informant247 earlier reported that the Governor of the State, Nyesom Wike welcomed the president elect to the state yesterday May 3 to inaugurate the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola Road Flyover in Port Harcourt, the capital of the state.
The former minister of aviation took to Twitter to refer to the visit as the best handshake across the Niger.
He described the visit of the president elect to Rivers State as a new dawn for the country, which shows that Tinubu was ready to show love, compassion and respect to all and sundry.
He wrote: “The best handshake across the Niger takes place today when President-elect @officialABAT visits Gov. Nyesome Wike in Port Harcourt. This is the beginning of a new Nigeria in which every part of the country, both North and South, will be treated with love, respect, and compassion.”
I won 2023 presidential election, says Tinubu in Rivers
The president elect Senator Bola Tinubu on Wednesday May 3rd said he came victorious in February 25 presidential election ”fair and square”.
This came as the two leading opposition candidates challenged the victory of Tinubu in court.
Tinubu made this revelation while inaugurating some projects in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
Tinubu said; “If you talk of character, you can say Wike is very dependable. I won, fair and square. Nyesom, I say “thank you” for your contribution to my victory”.
