Whoever kills intentionally going to hell – NASFAT leader, Imam Onike
Imam Abdul-Azeez Onike, the Chief Missioner, Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society, (NASFAT) has expressed concern about the state of security in Nigeria.
Onike has also declared that whoever deliberately commits murder is going to hell, citing the Holy Quran.
The cleric therefore told the federal government to do something about the senseless killings of people in the country.
In a statement made available to newsmen, on Monday, by the group’s national spokesperson, Abdul Akeem-Yusuf, Onike described insecurity in the country as unjust and unpatriotic.
He said he had observed that attacks and reprisal attacks have become tradition in the country.
He said it’s lawful for every Nigerian to live anywhere he or she desires without threat to life.
While reacting to the brutal murder of a pregnant woman and her kids, Onike said such heinous acts need to come to an end.
”According to the scriptures, one murder is equal to killing the whole humanity.
“Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption done in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.
“Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his punishment is Hell. God will curse him and prepare for him a painful chastisement,” he said.
The NASFAT leader maintained that Islam treats as equals, those who kill innocent people and those who support or co-operate with the killers.
