Westham beat Fiorentina 2-1 to clinch Europa Conference league trophy

Jarrod Bowen’s last-minute goal was all West Ham United needed to clinch the Europa Conference League glory after securing a dramatic 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in the final in Prague.

Bowen slotted home Lucas Paqueta’s pass in the 90th minute to hand the London side first piece of major silverware in 43 years.

Earlier, Benrahma’s 67th-minute penalty had been cancelled by a strike from Giacomo Bonaventura.

A resilient David Moye’s side kept on pushing and eventually secured the glory.

The Europa Conference league was the second time in their history following the club’s UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup triumph in 1965.

It also guarantees their place in next year’s Europa League.
