[Video] COVID-19: Kwara nurses protest lack of protective equipments

Nurses and Health Workers in Kwara state, on Thursday, embarked on protest over the state government’s refusal to provide them with personal protective equipments amid fight against the novel coronavirus.

The nurses who gathered at the entrance of the Kwara State General Hospital Ilorin insisted that they won’t report to work unless the government provide them with personal protective equipments and pay their allowances.

In a video clip obtained by THE INFORMANT247, the nurses ordered all health workers to shut down their respective offices and stop attending to patients.

This is coming after the confirmation of first two coronavirus cases in the state.
