Victor Osimhen has been crowned the African footballer of the year award.
Osimhen edged Egypt’s Mohammed Salah and Morroco’s Achraf Hakimi to win the coveted trophy at the event which was held at Morroco on Monday nights.
Osimhen played a vital role last season when Napoli won the title. The Nigerian Striker scored 26 league goals to help his side win the Serie A trophy for the first time in 33 years.
