U-20 AFCON: Nigerian football supporter wins fan of the match award

Jimoh Musiliu Alao, a supporter of Nigerian football has won the fan of the match award in the ongoing U-20 AFCON in Egypt.

Alao, who is a member of the Super Eagles Supporters Club ( SESC), won the Fan of the Match in the quarterfinal game between Nigeria and Uganda, which the Flying Eagles won 1-0.

The victory on Thursday didn’t only hand the Flying Eagles a semi-final place in the tournament,but also saw them booking one of the four tickets available of the U-20 World Cup in Indonesia later this year.

Sunday Dare , the Minister of Youth and Sports development has also congratulate the flying Eagles team for their feat and charged them to go for the trophy.

Nigeria has won the U-20 AFCON for the record seven times
