Two suspects arrested for duping woman seeking spiritual help N7.5m in Lagos
The Lagos State Police command has arrested two suspected fraudsters for allegedly duping a yet-to-identified woman of N7.5m in Ikorodu area of the state.
The state Police Public Relations Officers, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the arrest via his Twitter handle on Sunday, saying the suspects perpetrated the crime under the guise of providing spiritual help for the woman.
His tweet “In Ikorodu, these two duped a woman to the tune of N7.5m under the guise of providing ‘spiritual help.’ She realized the fraud and approached the police. They were apprehended when they arranged to get another batch of funds from her. Investigation is ongoing.”
