Two internet fraudsters bag jail terms in Kwara

Two internet fraudsters bag jail terms in Kwara | The Informant247

Kwara State High Court, sitting in Ilorin on Tuesday sentenced one Oyadiji Temitope Ridwan, a student of Kwara State Polytechnic, and Asimiyu Idris to various jail terms for offences bordering on impersonation and internet fraud.

The Ilorin zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned the convicts before the court.

The court found the two guilty of the charges preferred against them following their guilty plea.

Justice Sukiru Oyinloye sentenced them to one-year imprisonment each with various fine options.
