Pro Route League: A game changer in football development
The Pro Route League initiative in its second edition has been largely described as a game changer in the grassroots football ecosystem.
The league which brings a total number of 12 teams and over 400 young and talented footballers together for month-long football activities, has catalysed football development.
The league provides opportunities for participating players to sharpen their skills while also helping them find their professional footings in the game through matchday engagement and experience.
While the partnership between the league and Sofascore enables fans and supporters alike to see match updates and results, the official broadcast partner of the League, The Informant247 also provides livestreaming of the game for people to watch the league across in the world.
The Eyeball and Afriskaut platforms also provide player’s performance data on their platforms to attract scouting opportunities for all the players participating in the league.
While only Eight teams featured in the inaugural edition, the number increased to 12 for the second campaign, giving an indication of the project acceptability and enduring value in the society.
