Tinubu’s Swearing-in: Keyamo reacts as security officers drag Obidient out of aircraft
The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo who doubles as the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council has expressed his view about the manner an Obidient was dragged out of a plane by security agents of the airport.
The Informant247 earlier reported that a supporter of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi was dragged out of a flight traveling from Abuja to Lagos State at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
In a video which has gone viral on social media, the unidentified lone protester could be seen shouting as he was being dragged out of the plane.
“Obidients you’re here. They are doing this to me. Obidients you’re here, I am naked. Obidients you’re here, I am going naked,” he said.
No fewer than six security operatives of the airport dragged him out of the plane after he reportedly delayed the flight for more than one hour.
While expressing his view about the development on Twitter, Keyamo said the Obidient has been shown the difference between causing chaos on social media for engagement and causing it in reality.
He said the presidential candidate of the LP needs to speak against the recent outbursts that ‘Tinubu must not be sworn in’.
He said Tinubu has called for healing and unity of the country.
He said: “One emotionally and mentally dysfunctional ‘OBIdient’ who carried his ‘Tinubu-must-not-be-sworn-in’ campaign to a local flight yesterday and was forcefully deboarded when he became disruptive, has just seen the difference between causing trouble in real life and mobilising the headless mob on social media for likes and retweets.
“And it is important that since this dangerous action amounting to public nuisance was carried out in supposed support of one of the Presidential candidates, that candidate MUST come out to condemn it unreservedly. @officialABAT has since issued a statement calling on his supporters to tone down the rhetoric and to embrace national healing and reconciliation. We expect no less from the other candidates”
