The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has revealed why his relationship with the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu took a worse dimension in 2007.
Atiku confessed that the former Governor of Lagos state, wanted him to subscribe to a Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2007, but he declined.
The former presidential candidate of the now-defunct opposition Action Congress, AC, confessed that Tinubu wanted to be his vice presidential candidate.
Atiku said: “He insisted on running with me and I didn’t believe it was right to have a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
“That was the point of my fundamental departure with him.”
