Ahead of the May 29 inauguration, the official transition portraits of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima have been released.
The Informant247 gathered that the portraits were approved by the Presidential Transition Council.
Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Director of Media and Publicity, while disclosing this, wrote on Twitter: “Pre-inauguration official photographs approved by the Presidential Transition Council for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President elect Senator Kashim Shettima.”
It could be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on March Ist, declared Tinubu the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
Tinubu, who is running on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), defeated his closet rivals, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
Meanwhile, Atiku and Obi are challenging the victory of Tinubu at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
