Tinubu retires PTDF boss, appoints Galadima Aminu as replacement

In a new development at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund, Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Tuesday, appointed Ahmed Galadima Aminu as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the agency for a term of four years.

The Informant247 gathered that Galadima’s appointment was followed by the retirement letter submitted by the outgoing Executive Secretary/CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, after Gusau was ordered to proceed on 90-day pre-retirement leave beginning September 26, 2023.

Tinubu, in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, said Galadima’s appointment trails the application for retirement submitted by the outgoing Executive Secretary/CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, who is to proceed on 90-days pre-retirement leave beginning on September 26, 2023.

Aminu has most recently served as the General Manager of the Education and Training Department at PTDF.

The president has directed Aminu to serve in an acting capacity until he commences his four years in office, beginning on December 26, 2023.
