Tinubu emerges winner in former president Jonathan’s local government

The presidential flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has been announced the victor of the presidential election in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State.

The Informant247 understands that Ogbia is the local government area of former President Goodluck Jonathan who is a respected leader of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The collation officer for the local government area, Prof Joy Ikeke, revealed that Tinubu of the APC gathered a total of 8444 votes to conquer the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi who had 6721 votes to come second.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, secured 6362 votes to come 3rd.
