Streets have taught me more than any classroom — Portable
The well known Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable said he has gained more knowledge in the streets than in the classroom.
The controversial street singer recently made headlines after some police officers occupied his apartment to institute his arrest.
The singer could be seen in a video which has gone viral on social media, shouting and dragging the police who came to apprehend him.
He could be heard saying: “I am a federal Government liability. I work with the Government too. I work with APC”.
The spokesperson of the police command, who came out to shed some light to the issue, said the police officers stormed the singer’s apartment because he did not honour the earlier invitations to the police station.
The singer has taken to social media the photo of himself, saying he’s smarter.
He said he has gained more knowledge in the streets than in any classroom.
He wrote, “Zazuu I have learned more in the streets than in any classroom..I’m still smarter than you in the Zoo my future in God’s hands. Ika of Africa Akoi Grace. Dr Zeh Nation many many inspiration”.
