Son beats mother to death in Delta
A mother was reportedly beaten to death by his son in Kwale Community, Delta State.
Report has it that the incident took place beside Tana Security Company, Umusam Ogbe, Kwale.
The young man who just returned from Lagos State, and the only surviving son, was the one in charge of the sale of family’s property.
It was learnt that a misunderstanding ensued between the son and the mother.
He reportedly beat his mother to death.
Those residing around the house quickly came around, to catch him and handed him over to local hunters.
The local hunters immediately handed him over to police officers from Kwale Division who took away the dead body from the affected scene.
The spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe while reacting to the incident in Warri said, “I am not aware”.
He however said he would make findings on the incident and get back to newsmen.
