Foremost Non-governmental Organization in Kwara State, Salman Shagaya Foundation has extended their ongoing 4,000 homes solar project to Patigi, Patigi local government, Kwara state.
The project which was launched in November last year at Omoda in Ilorin West has reportedly reached more than three local government today with hundreds of houses fixed. The foundation’s Kwara North installation team earlier visited Baruten, Kiama and Edu local government.
While at Edu local government last week, several communities including Bacita, Tsonga, Tsaragi and Lafiagi were positively touched. The Emir of Tsaragi Alh Aliyu Abdullah kpotwa commended the foundation’s intervention, describing it as an uncommon private initiative.
The team led by Alhaji Muftau Akanbi-Oke and Alh Salman Lateef were at Lade, Chinoo,Gbagede maigida, Sanchita villages, in Patigi local government yesterday to fix the panels in continuation of the Kwara North installation. The delegates while going about the operations, visited Etsu Patigi’s palace.
