Sokoto Deputy Gov dismisses rumour of defection to APC
The Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Muhammad Manir Dan’Iya has dismissed the rumours that he has dumped the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The new development was revealed by his Press Director, Aminu Abdullahi Abubakar, on Thursday.
He said the rumour that he has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC was a product of imagination of those who fabricated it.
He said the Deputy Governor still remained a proud member of the PDP and loyal to Governor of the state, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
He implored members of the public to discard the letter.
