Shekarau dumps NNPP, joins PDP

Former Kano State Governor and current Kano Central Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has defected to the People’s Democratic Party.

Shekarau defected during Wednesday’s Senate plenary session.

Before defecting, he was a member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.

He previously joined the NNPP from the All Progressives Congress.
