Security operatives escort 2 busload of travellers out of Kwara

At least 2 bus loaded with travellers en route the North from Osun state have been intercepted in Erin-Ile, Osun-Kwara boundary, THE INFORMANT247 reports.

The security operatives however escorted them to Jebba — Niger-Kwara boundary — to continue their journey.

Recall that no fewer than 32 travellers en route Kano State from Osun State were also intercepted in Erin-Ile, Osun-Kwara boundary, yesterday.

 

It was gathered that the travellers, who reportedly came from Ilesha in Osun were heading for Kano.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on April 27, ordered a ban on non-essential inter-state passenger travel until further notice as part of measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease which is said to be at the community transmission stage in the country.
