The Saudi Arabian government has granted approval for the transportation of the body of the late prominent businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, from Abu Dhabi to the holy city of Madina for his final rites.
Alhaji Mustapha Abdullahi Junaidu, the Private Principal Secretary to the late Dantata, shared the news in a Facebook post on Sunday, expressing his profound gratitude: “Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah, I have received approval to take Aminu Alhassan Dantata from Abu Dhabi to Madina, he will be buried tomorrow morning by the grace of Allah.”
Dantata passed away in the early hours of Saturday at a hospital in Abu Dhabi, following a brief illness at the age of 94. The family had earlier revealed that the late industrialist would be interred in Madina beside his wife, Rabi’a Dantata, who died in 2023, in accordance with his final wishes.
On Saturday, a special Islamic funeral prayer, Salatul Ga’ib, was held in Kano to honor the late business magnate. The prayer session saw a large turnout of mourners, including notable figures such as the Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin.
