Saraki mourns Northern Elders Forum DG, Yima Sen
The former Senate President of Nigeria, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Wednesday, mourned the Director General of the Northern Elders Forum, Dr. Yima Sen.
Yima reportedly died on Tuesday, October 6 after a brief illness.
In a short statement on the micro-bloging site, Twitter, Saraki said, “I am deeply saddened by the passing away of the Director General of the Northern Elders Forum, Dr. Yima Sen. He was a fine intellectual who also dedicated his life to the pursuit of the development of the entire North Central Zone, moulding the minds of the next generation and the development of Nigeria as a nation. He will be sorely missed.”
The former Kwara state governor also condoled with family members of the deceased.
