Salman Shagaya Foundation Empowers Women With Over N10m Grant

A charitable organisation, Salman Shagaya Foundation has on Sunday, 7th December, 2019 at the Oke Apomu Primary School, Alore, Ilorin disbursed Ten Thousand Naira to over one thousand beneficiaries each.

The empowerment programme which cut across all the sixteenth Local Government Areas of the state kicked off with opening prayer by Sheikh Mustapha Oloka. The Islamic Cleric highlighted the uncommon virtues of founder of the foundation, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya, reiterating that the free giver is a pious man who is not selective in his act of charity.

Hon. sheriff, while fielding questions from journalists said that he designed the programme as his own way of giving back to society, noting that no hidden agenda or gains are attached to the philanthropic activities.

The young successful business mogul, however charged other successful Kwarans to follow suit by contributing their quota to the alleviation of poverty in the state.

Recall that SSF had about three weeks ago launched a solar project aimed at providing alternative power supply to various communities in Kwara State.
