Saliu Mustapha lauds Emir of Ilorin at 25 years on throne, says it’s purposeful
A top-notch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has lauded the resilience of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, in his grand commitment to enhancing growth and development to the Ilorin Emirate in the last 25 years.
In a statement issued through his media aide to commemorate the Emir’s 25th anniversary on the throne, Mallam Mustapha also noted the courage of the Emir that has engendered unity and peace in the ancient city and beyond.
According to him, in the last twenty-five years, the ancient city of Ilorin has grown in leaps and bounds, describing the reign of the revered monarch as peaceful, development-driven, and purposeful.
Mallam Mustapha noted that during the reign of the highly respected monarch, the ancient city of Ilorin had been transformed into a modern political and socio-economic space, pledging his support to continue to identify with the traditional ruler, the people of Ilorin Emirates and Kwara State as a whole.
He commended the foremost traditional ruler of the Ilorin Emirate for ensuring that law and order prevail throughout the Emirate and identified with his contributions to the growth and development of the state in general.
He said, “Sir, your twenty-five years on the throne has been of great reward to Nigeria, and it has been a huge blessing to the Ilorin Emirate in particular. It has been purposeful, development-driven, peaceful, and thus, paving way for the establishment of higher institutions of learning, industries, and as well as attracting would-be investors to the state. I join all our compatriots to congratulate you. I salute your courage and outstanding initiatives that have brought unity and peace to your domain and beyond. It is my prayer to the Almighty Allah that we will celebrate more beautiful years on the throne of your forefathers.
“Let me seize this opportunity to reassure you of my readiness to continue to contribute my quota to the growth and development of our beloved Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State in general.
