An All Progressive Congress cheiftain, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated Hon. Ezekiel Benjamin Yissa and Hon. Jafar Bio over their appointments.
Benjamin was appointed as the Chairman, Governing Board of the Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State, while Bio was appointed a member of the Council of the Federal University, Ebonyi.
Saliu also commended the President, Muhammadu Buhari and Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu for recognizing duos qualities and making excellent choice.
The statement personally signed by Mallam Saliu Mustapha reads, “In the last one decade or thereabout that I have known and related with him, Hon. Benjamin comes across to me as a politician in a class of his own – blunt, straight-forward, God-fearing and result-oriented. Hon. Bio on the other hand is a role model to a whole generation of young politicians in Kwara State and beyond.
“This is why when occasion presented itself for the choice of nominees for the position, it was not difficult to push their names forward for consideration. The appointees have paid their dues in the Kwara Project, and therefore deserve no less from me especially, and definitely from all of us. I am proud to be associated with them.
“We thank the almighty who aligned his wishes with our own. I thank particularly President Muhammadu Buhari and Hon. Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu for finding two of our own worthy of this elevation.
“I use the opportunity to urge the appointees to live up to their cherished pedigree and reputations. I am confident that they will both justify the confidence so reposed in them.
