Founder of Saliu Mustapha Foundation, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, has commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, CFR, over the death of Wakili of Ilorin, Justice Mustapha Muhammad Adebayo Akanbi CFR, (rtd).
Mallam Saliu Mustapha in a statement issued to newsmen in Ilorin described the death of the pioneer Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission Chairman and former President of the Court of Appeal as a colossal loss to Ilorin Emirate, Nigeria and the International Community.
He described late Justice Mustapha Muhammad Adebayo Akanbi as an incorruptible and intrepid judge with unquestionable character and a man of God who dedicated his life to the service of Almighty Allah and humanity.
Mallam Saliu Mustapha also noted that late Justice Mustapha Muhammad Adebayo Akanbi distinguished himself in his public and private dealings especially as a foremost anti corruption crusader and a community leader whose giant contributions to the development of the country will remain indelible in the lives of many.
Mallam Saliu Mustapha while praying to Allah to grant late Justice Mustapha Muhammad Adebayo Akanbi Aljanat Fridaos and the family the fortitude to bear the loss, urged them to take solace in the fact that their father lived and exemplary life worthy of emulation.
Late Justice Mustapha Muhammad Adebayo Akanbi passed away in the early hours of today Sunday Ramadan 18, 1439A.H
